45° Dust Collection Reducer — 4 in to 1-1/4 in

Connect your shop vacuum to a woodworking dust port or chute while changing the hose direction with one adapter. The Electron Whale EWAR-4114 combines a curved reducer and 45-degree elbow, helping route the hose beneath a table saw or around limited space near your equipment.

Check the fit

The 4-inch and 1-1/4-inch names are common hose and port size labels. They do not describe the exact opening measurements. The approximate inside diameters are 4 in (101.5 mm) at the tool-port opening and 1.24 in (31.5 mm) at the shop-vac opening. The shop-vac fitting inserts inside the smaller opening. Measure the outside of the fitting that will insert and compare it with the reducer opening before ordering. Fitting shapes and printed fit can vary. These opening measurements are taken beyond the rounded entrance.

What’s included

Includes one EWAR-4114 reducer. Hoses and clamps are not included.

Installation

Orient the 45-degree connection to leave room for the hose. Support the attached hose and check the connection before use.

Construction and finish

Designed and manufactured in the USA, this reducer uses 3D printing to combine the angled connection, curved transition and textured grip in one black thermoplastic part, providing both the size change and hose angle without a separate elbow. The visible layers are part of its surface finish.
